General introduction

Strategy Manager will play a key role in the Research & Strategy Department, reporting directly to the Head of Growth and Strategy. The purpose of this role is to coordinate different aspects of strategic planning and operations for the company and its products.


Job Description

  • Understand and shape the company’s strategy and mission, along with its different product offerings
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the entire portfolio of the businesses to propose and analyze strategic decisions impacting multiple functional areas
  • Develop and analyze detailed business proposals that cover multiple industry and business models
  • Research competition to identify threats, opportunities and internal competitive advantages
  • Coordinate cross department to assess internal capacity and resources, to align processes, resources-planning and department goals with overall strategy
  • Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes (e.g. shift in strategic focus, mergers and acquisitions, etc.)
  • Educate senior executives in making effective decisions
  • Construct forecasts and analytical models
  • Understand and stay current on the macro-economic environment, government legislation, consumer trends, and competitive landscape shifts
  • Identifying potential problems and devising ways to rectify them



Must have:

  • 2-5 years of experience including several years at a consulting firm, in-house corporate strategy team, financial advisor, venture capital or related fields
  • Understanding of market research and data analysis
  • Knowledge of business operations and procedures, ability to think strategically
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to simplify complex subjects
  • Problem-solver with data-driven analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and extremely accurate
  • It can be done attitude with an extreme sense of urgency
